We at CAP2 are proud of our friendly ethos. We employ some of the industry’s most enthusiastic and dedicated individuals. We’re all passionate about the work that we do, from support engineers and marketers to developers and product owners, every one of us is responsible for the continued success of CAP2.
Daniel spent more than 15 years working in the Sports industry for leisure trusts across the UK, managing the business side of Swim Schools and Junior Programmes. He joined CAP2 in 2015, and has overseen a huge increase in the popularity of our market leading products. Daniel is kept very busy with his two young children and likes to swim and watch his beloved Liverpool.
Sue Enright – Head of Product
Sue spent 6 years running a sailing school in Croatia having previously worked in IT in the Tourism Industry. Originating from Ireland, Sue enjoys camping, even if it does mean getting to know the British weather a bit too well! Sue has enjoyed huge success here at CAP2 as a stand-out performer at the Jonas Software awards held in Las Vegas, and is now head of Product for both CAP2 & our sister company TRP.
Carey Hiles – Head of Development
Carey is a pre-web internet veteran with a passion for software development; hosting podcasts, local unconferences and encouraging participation in the Open Source community when he can. Outside of development, Carey loves movies; though with a newborn daughter, currently lacks the time to enjoy them. His current ‘insists-you-watch’ movie is ‘MicMacs à tire-larigot’!
Marc Jones – Head of Commercial
Marc has worked in the fitness/leisure industry for over 25 years now, taking on various roles from managing fitness clubs to selling them equipment. He has a keen interest in customer experience and human behaviour and is no stranger to software having co-developed a highly successful membership retention system earlier in his career. Outside of his work, Marc is an active triathlete and loyal Liverpool season ticket holder.
Andreea Gray – Product Owner
Andreea has recently moved to Bath, living with her Husband, and a very French feline named Merlot! Enjoying arts, crafts and design, if Andreea doesn’t know how to make something, she’ll figure out a way; just the kind of attitude we like to see in someone shaping CoursePro’s future. Andreea is also involved with great causes such as Hospices of Hope and the Honeypot Children’s Charity.
Peter Weikert – Senior Developer
Peter joined CAP2 in 2012 on completion of his Computer Science degree at the University of Plymouth and rose to his current rank in 2015. Peter’s jovial happy announcements for the beginning of each new day, such as ‘Happy Monday guys!’ have gained cult status at our Bath Head Office.
Patrick Van Den Hurk – Senior Developer
Patrick originates from Eindhoven in the Netherlands. He joined the CAP2 team in 2014 and brings with him huge development experience. Besides working hard on improving our market leading products, Patrick enjoys cycling (although, perhaps less so than in his native Holland – it’s a bit less flat here!)
Val Stone – Senior Developer
Val joined CAP2 in 2015 to aid the development side of our market leading products. Before which she had been working for herself in Web design, and for 10 years had worked just round the corner from our Head Office in Bath for another firm! Val is a keen Church goer, and is part of her local church group.
Pete Karski – UI/UX Designer
With a background in linguistics and creative arts, Pete is a user interface designer with a strong sensitivity for user experience and a passion for researching new approaches and inventing ideas to make things better. Back in his native Poland Pete was a rock (just rock, not a star) and his favourite song is Tommy the Cat by Primus.
James Wilson – 3rd Line Support Consultant
James joined CAP2 in 2015 having spent nearly three years in the role of Support at other firms. James originates from Somerset and apart from working hard to solve any problems and answer customer queries, he’s also a big Noel Gallagher fan, but we don’t believe anybody feels the way we do about James!
Ben Zell – 1st Line Support Consultant
Bathonian Ben honed his skill set at the University of Gloucestershire, his interactive gaming development background has given him an eye for detail! Hailing from 7 years coaching and lifeguarding in the swimming industry, Ben’s knowledge of how CoursePro can be used, background in tech and friendly attitude made him an easy choice to add to the team.
Chris Denmark – 1st Line Support Consultant
West Country local Chris has a passion for helping people, so we knew from the start he’d fit in! With a wealth of experience in customer-facing roles, he’s a great asset to our happy & helpful team. Outside of CAP2, Chris is a keen golfer, playing at the Cumberwell Park Golf Club, and enjoys going for walks with his partner and dog. He recommends reading “The Lies of Locke Lamora”!
Rob Howes – Sales Account Manager
Rob rejoined CAP2 in October ’18 when he moved back to the area, and was previously our marketing executive! He studied Marketing at University, ran his own sports-coaching company, and is now using his knowledge of CoursePro once again. He’s also a keen supporter of the “mighty” Yeovil Town FC!
Eddy Graham – Sales Account Manager
Attracted to CAP2 by our values and aims, Eddy loves playing a part in getting more kids active, and has a passion for health & well-being. He says if he can “help a club to deliver just a single extra lesson a week”, he considers that noble and satisfying; though he does more than that! Eddy enjoys reading, cooking and flight simulators, as well as all the joys of family life.
James Charles – Senior Marketing Executive
An experienced health and leisure industry marketer, James arrived at CAP2 in June 2019. Passionate about brand management, he’ll be looking after our elephants, Ella and Kingsley! James is a keen runner, regularly taking part in 10k and half marathon races. He is also a bit of a football geek, with a particular interest in stadium architecture, and can often be found at random football grounds across the UK on a Saturday afternoon!
