CoursePro’s Gymnastics arm has gone from strength to strength in the last few years. The software’s ability to fit seamlessly within the world of pikes, balance beams and trampolines didn’t go unnoticed by Adam Reynolds at Springfit Gymnastics and Trampoline Club. The Club were one of the early gymnastics clubs to adopt CoursePro.
CoursePro provides the platform for communication between our members, coaches, office and parents. Obviously this is one of the most important parts of running a successful business, and parents appreciate the effectiveness of the contact triggers that provide them with clear information about everything the coaches do in class and what the office staff note in the office.
Being able to check a child’s progress through the Home Portal facility has been one of the biggest improvements we’ve offered customers since using CoursePro. It has led to greater customer satisfaction as well as reduced administration for our office team. We have also saved money and reduced our carbon footprint by eliminating paper registers and assessment sheets from classes, not to mention the added security of having it all stored online. We no longer have the issue of not being able to read a coaches’ handwriting!
Springfit have made great use of the three aspects of CoursePro, with the Control Centre providing them with their own virtual reception as Adam explains:
Our office staff manage all memberships through the Control Centre and get alerted promptly when there is a problem with a membership or payment. We can identify those ready to move up quickly and easily, without having to take up the valuable time of coaches getting their reports on progress for individuals. Keeping classes full on a daily basis helps keep us profitable.
Being able to set up and suspend different contact triggers based on which class any particular member is enrolling in is extremely helpful. It’s also great to see the system working without us having to lift a finger, as parents make a payment through their Home Portal and top-up their class subscriptions autonomously.
The Club have used Teacher Portal to update the way their coaches make assessments and give feedback to parents.
Each of our coaches use a tablet which they take to classes, sync before and after, and can use offline or connected to the venue’s WiFi. They can readily check medical notes and assess a student’s progression regularly.
Before Teacher Portal the paperwork involved was extremely difficult to manage, especially in terms of maintaining data protection requirements when printing registers with things like parent contact information and medical notes. Having to destroy it securely was costly and there were risks in losing the class folders. Now it is all online and password protected through CoursePro as well as the tablet itself, I am a happier manager knowing we are minimising this risk through adopting CoursePro.
The third aspect of CoursePro; Home Portal, gives parents and class members their own online personal site.
Parents are really grateful to be able to log in to see their child’s progress and view it on any device to show Grandma or Grandad how well they are doing and what skills they are learning! They also use it to be able to see what they will be working on in class before they turn up, so they can be more prepared and motivated. Being able to book additional classes through the Home Portal gives them the flexibility to attend more, which is just a good thing for everyone involved.

Quite honestly the CAP2 team have been superb in helping with the smallest question to the biggest problem we have had trouble resolving with any part of the system. They are always available to contact, handle our queries professionally and promptly, and will go to great lengths to help make sure they can resolve any issue. They hold customer summits to help improve their service and they have even reached out to us offering help when they noticed on social media that we had a forced last-minute closure. That’s truly unprecedented service levels.
